Step 1: Find and register your domain name (Web address):

Your web address, or domain name, helps people understand what you do. The most popular domain names end with ".com" Unless you have a clear reason for making a different selection, go with ".com". When selecting your web address:

Pick a domain name that references your business name or what you do
A shorter name is better
If possible, avoid using special characters or numbers
Stay away from variant spellings (people may remember your name, but not the cute spelling)
Don’t use someone else’s company name or trademark – you will be liable to any infringement!

Once you have found the domain name that you want you need to register it. There are many ways to register it (we use GoDaddy.com).
