FAQsQ: Why shouldn't I use my existing email address? A: You should always, always use an email address based on your web address. This exudes professionalism. Not using an email address based on your web address is a constant suggestion to everyone that you don't have your own website. Whatever you do, in the business world you will want to avoid the cutesy or cryptic email address that you once used in school or have reserved for personal use. If you want to keep your old email address, you can always have your new, professional sounding one forwarded to your existing one (or vice versa). Just be sure to give out your new email address in all business situations.
