FAQsQ: Why can't I just be part of someone else's site? A: It is technically viable to use a portion of someone else's website. This could be as a sub-domain or a sub-directory. (A sub-domain would look like "yourname.TASwebsites.com" and a subdirectory would look like "www.TASwebsites.com/yourname" Either option, however, makes it look like you took a short-cut or someone didn't know what they were doing. At one time, these were money-saving strategies, but now any small economy that might be realized is greatly diminished; going this route is being "penny wise and pound foolish." These "options" also tend to result in long, cumbersome, and confusing web addresses. You should avoid them if at all possible.
